James Joseph MacCabe was a Catholic living in Dublin. He is my great great great great grandfather. Unusually for a Catholic he studied at the very Protestant Trinity College Dublin. He was a physician and Qualified as a midwife on 6 May 1809 as recorded by The Kings and Queens College of Physicians in Ireland.
