James Troughton (5GF) found innocent and released

James Troughton (25) who had a young family was detained on by the Gentleman John Brooke on 12 August 1833. He was tried at the Summer Azises along with Thomas Sediard (32) and Samuel Davison (20): with the manslaughter of Sam Okey at the parish of Cheltenham on the eleventh day of June 1832. The trio were found not guilty and released on 16 August 1833. James spent 5 days incarcerated.
