Fatality at Crookwell,
Well-known Young Rider
Killed
Our Crookwell correspondent
writes:-Muriel Christie, the twelve-
year-old daughter of Mr. V. G.
Christie, of Wheeo, met with an ac-
cident on Wednesday. She was an ex-
perienced rider, and while exercising
one of her father's trotters the
hopples slipped, tripping the horse,
which fell on the little girl, who was
badly crushed. She was brought to
the hospital, where everything pos-
sible was done, but without avail, and
she died early on Friday morning.
She had won twenty-five blue ribbons
at various shows, and was a constant
exhibitor here.

There are other people in this site, for various reasons, some not related at all. Some are married into my family, some I once thought were related and, turns out, they are not.

On the Aborigines: Unfortunately, I can only place global statements not he web pages. The aborigines I am aware of are in the Blackman Line and are from the children of James Blackman and Elizabeth Harley.
