APPREHENSION OF AN ABSCONDER FROM BAIL.-Some time ago a female named Mary Anne Pearce, alias Robinson, was with a lad named James Cramp, committed by the Goulburn bench on a charge of horse-stealing. Bail was applied for, granted, and put in for toe appearance of the accused at the last Quarter Sessions. Cramp appeared on his recognisances, but as Mary Anne Pearce, who the Crown considered was the only guilty party in the felony, failed to surrender, the lad was discharged. …
