SISTER'S CLAIM.
While employed by the Railway Commis-sioners at Chullora on Apiil 1, John Pugh, otherwise known as John Lloyd, was fatally injured through being struck by a weight, and his sister, Emma Cramp, of Beauchamp street, Marrickville, whose husband is unfit for work owing to a weak heart, claimed £300 compensation as a dependent of de-ceased. The applicant was declared a par-tial dependent, and an award in her favour for £100, with costs on the second scale, was made.
Mr. Studdert (instructed by Mr. S. G. Sommers) appeared for the applicant, and Mr. Bourke for the Railway Commissioners.
