Burial Notes: Mary BLACKMAN (nee JOHN) is buried in the Barton Park Cemetery (within the grounds of the Power Station) at Wallerawang. The inscription on the headstone says "Mary Blackman, who departed this life 4th January, 1848. Aged 49 years". Mary married James Blackman [316] [KGY7-6VQ] [MRIN: 160], son of James Blackman [442] [KFKK-LGY] and Elizabeth Harley [311] [KFKK-LGT], on 1814 Jul 18 in Richmond, Cumberland County, New South Wales.1 (James Blackman [316] [KGY7-6VQ] was born about 1792 in Woolwich, Kent, England, United Kingdom, died on 1868 Mar 22 in Redbank, Mudgee, New South Wales 4 and was buried on 1868 Mar 23 in Mudgee, Wellington County, New South Wales 5.) Marriage Notes: Richmond, St Peter's Church of England by Rev Henry Fulton. Witnesses were Ann and Alfred Luttrell. |
