Thomas had a relationship with UNKNOWN [1614] [MRIN: 396] before 1845 in Mudgee, Wellington County, New South Wales.1 (UNKNOWN [1614] was born before 1830 and died after 1852.) Marriage Notes: Bridget an aboriginal lady from "Nugal Station" and Thomas, had four children. These children were Louisa Florinel b.c 1847, Euphemia b.c 1852, Elwin and John Blackman. They were reportedly adopted by Thomas' parents, James Blackman and Mary John. Thomas next married Cathrine McCann [23515] [MRIN: 17045], daughter of Patrick McCann [1654] and Catherine Kennedy [1655], on 1856 Mar 4 in Maitland, Northumberland County, New South Wales.2 (Cathrine McCann [23515] was born in 1829 in Sydney, Cumberland County, New South Wales,5 died on 1894 Aug 22 in Cooyal, Phillip County, New South Wales and was buried in Cooyal Cemetery, Mudgee, New South Wales 6.)
