My half first cousin three times removed: Ernest Alfred Eldridge, was charged with murder committed on this day. There are no newspaper entries I can find that show if he was found guilty or innocent.

Sequel to Quarrel. At the Crookwell Coroner’s Court on Mon- day morning an inquiry was opened con-cerning the death of David Price, senior, of Gurrundah.

Ernest Alfred Eldridge, a young man, was present in custody.

The inquest was the sequel to a quarrel which took place at Crookwell on Saturday evening. It is alleged that Price and Eldridge entered into an argument, which developed into a squabble. Blows were exchanged and Price was knocked down. As he did not get up, onlookers became alarmed and the police were called in. Price was conveyed to the Crookwell Hos-pital, where he died shortly after admis-sion.

After taking formal evidence, the inquest was adjourned till Thursday morning.
