iam a decendant of thomas blackman and aboriginal woman who had 4 kids
That makes us cousins. 🙂
I am descended from James and Elizabeth’s child – Robert Blackman.
I have a newspaper article on the topic on the page for Euphemia Blackman. I am sure there is another that talks about all the children. But I cannot find it at the moment.
I noticed that you made mention of my great great grandmother. Elizabeth Winsper/Winsforth in your family research. (Her parents were noted as William Winsforth/Winsper and Mary Ann and her surname was simply noted (a black woman) I am trying to trace our aboriginal heritage.
