Went up to Mona Vale and did two of Charl’s new caches and had dinner. The first one was Stick Figure in Peril, the second Sea Air. I have not posted the photos from the second cache, yet. We had dinner at the Hong Kong Chinese restaurant, a Newport establishment, and the food and service was very good. The Hong Kong Chinese restaurant has what I would call modern Australian Chinese food. It is based on the Chinese tradition of food, but it is not Chinese food. It has been modified for Australian tastes. The only variance from this is the deserts which are typical of Australian Chinese deserts from 30 years ago. So I had some yummy lychee and ice cream.
