Well we were quite late in getting away. We had to check in before 5 PM and we got there after 4:30 even though it was only 1 1/2 hours down the road. Having done that we could relax, set up the camp, let the dogs out and rest. Kirsten headed back up the road a few towns to find an open supermarket to get some dinner. As we had the dogs we did not bring the cooking gear as there was no space for it. Also we were at that time only intending to stay one night. The kids were having a great time. Not long before the Yarra river had been at minor flood levels. the ground was very soft and in places very muddy, The people running the park, who were very helpful, said to drive around and find a spot that was not too wet.
