Unfortunately I did not get the message about my grand aunt’s funeral until late in the night. The funeral was the next day at 10AM. As I had not paid, I could not check out before 7AM. Three hours was not enough to make it to Brisbane. I needed at lest 5.
I headed back inland. Being stuck behind a slow moving truck, I stopped at a picnic ground with a water fall called Newell Falls.
At the top of the climb, back in New England again, I stop off at the Dorrigo National Park and do two walks.
I then stopped at the Dangar Falls, just outside of Dorrigo.
Heading out of Dorrigo, I came across a yet to be opened railway museum.
Coming back down, out of the mountains, I crossed over the strange double storey bridge in Grafton.
Before ending the day in Casino.
