Well, for the first time in a few weeks I went on the Saturday Slowies. I have been suffering from a cold the last few weeks. The weather was lightly overcast. The start in the dark. The pace, fast. I don’t know, sometimes, the pace is slow, and sometimes fast. I will have to have a look at my gps maps and see if this is true, or just an indication of my level of exhaustion. I have done a lot of riding (compartitavely) in the last week. So I struggled to keep up the whole way. But this time I reached a target I have been aiming for. I did the whole ride without any breaks apart from waiting for the others at the gate for the return ride. Now that I have reached my goal, though I did loaf a bit on the laps of Centennial Park, I will now go on the ride to waterfall with the cruisers. But on that weeked I will not do the Saturday Slowies. I will need to conserve my energy for the much longer ride.
