While driving around Deutschland in December 1987, I had listened to a lot of Deutsch radio. This song – küss die hand herr kerkermeister by Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung had been number 1 or 2 at the time. When I travelled back through Deutschland in January 1988, I purchased a copy of their CD Geld oder Leben! in München. Later I was able to obtain two more CDs through people who worked at Siemens. To this day they are one of my favourite bands and I see that they are still pumping out CDs. Alas the version on You Tube does not include the film clip.
