Fixing the Steering

The other day, while waiting in Martian Place, I was sitting on my seat and noticing that it wobbles from side to side, some times it does this and other times it does not. I had never really investigated it and I knew it was the current cause of my steering instabilities in a straight line when going at speed. As I had notihng else to do for 15 minutes I investigated the cause of the wobble. It was very easy to determine. It was the bolt that attaches the seat to the frame. Half a turn on the screw and the seat was firmly fixed in place and the seat no longer wobbled. Subsequent riding showed that the last of the speed wobble gremlins had disappeared. It is now rock solid at speed. So why is the bolt sometimes tight and sometimes not? Well I take the seat off from time to time to fold the trike in half. Obviously I need to be more careful to do the bolt up tightly. I am considering adding another washer.
