Returning to Sydney

Not many pictures from today. We just spend a long day driving. We headed out in the morning, leaving Kirsten, Krysta and Teresa. Milla and I. We stopped on the way at Winton Cemetery and planted some flowers at Milla‘s mother’s grave (Elke Leah) and her great grandmother, Charlotte’s grave. Milla chose the spot, helped dig the hole and planted the flower at her mother’s grave. I read out the writing on her mother’s grave. I think these words were very important. We spent quite some time in the cemetery walking past the graves on the way back to the car, talking about how old each person had been when they had died. Wondering what lives they had led. There were people from two to ninety.

We drove back along the hume, turning off at Coolac for Cootamundra. From here we followed the Olympic Way to Cowra and then the Mid Western Highway to Bathurst. Stopping for food near Glenrowan and at Young. We had dinner at Bathurst and then headed up the Great Western Highway. It was after 8PM when I dropped of Milla at home and then drove home myself. On the drive from Bathurst we had this song by Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung on repeat and Milla made this little movie. Elke has been learning German as she is at least one quarter German.
