I work in a company that provides intenational capacity, including for the internet. We use undersea cables and have been doing so for since the 1960’s. It seems odd that I am discouraged from telling people about this. It seems that some people think that the public should continue to think that all international capacity is provided by satellite. I do not know why they think this. I think it is odd.
