Well I did four laps of Centennial Park @3.8 km per lap thanks to the assistance of some of the riders of the DHBC to provide motivation. I could really have done 5 in the time, though my legs were giving out and I had a minor stomach complaint from what I ate last night. Ah, the joys of riding and burping. But still, I managed to do the laps in 10 minutes. And I did one extension. My current target is now 5 laps, then I will start adding in hill climb laps. And if I can do a lap in 10 minutes, I should be able to do 6 laps. Also the average moving speed was a tad over 19.5 kmh, which is quite fast for me.
We had a particularly large group this morning and had to split into two. A slow group and a fast one. Of course, I rode in the slow group. As usual, we stopped afterwards at the Marrickville Road Cafe. I think I am going to suggest that once a month we visit the Eveleigh Growers Markets on the return trip. On the first Sunday of the Month they also have an arts and crafts market.
