I went over to the Erskineville Hotel for a dinner with a few friends. Being close I walked there. The Aquatic Centre, (swimming pool) in Enmore is being rebuilt as the old one was in a major state of disrepair. At the moment it is just a hole in the ground. But it should be completed by the end of the year. I like how there is some rebilliousness on the web site. I have seen it before in other places like Vietnamese web sites that say Ho Chi Minh City on the web page but Saigon in the URL. This one says Annette Kellerman Aquatic Centre on the web page by Enmore Pool in the URL.
Continuing through the back streets of Newtown I discovered the location, quite by accident, of the Angel Street Permaculture Garden. This is one of many community gardens. They were just closing. I will go back there one day when they are open. Opposite was this bit of graffiti about holding hands.
