…姚居士想到自己若接受手术未知吉凶。而手上有数本珍藏的大方广华严经、不如送往别人。忽然想起送给太子道的佛学班同学会， 于是致电给于该处讲经的叶文意老师，谈话间告知了叶老师她的病况，叶老师立即建议她找一佛学班同学又是医生的看看，并为她作出安排。姚居士于是往看该医 生，该医生认为姚居士的脚的情况末至要动手术的地步，解释给她说医生通常都会告知病人最坏的可能性，以免日后负责，建议她继续看政府医生，恳请医生们尽力 为她医治，她是不愿意动手术的。姚居士听罢顿然放心下来，照着建议的向政府医生们恳求，当然医生们亦明白到病者之心情，尽力为姚居士医治，结果姚居士亦得 以完全康复，保存了她的脚。于治疗期间，姚居士曾多次见到及感觉到诸佛菩萨为她治疗脚病。…

The Yao scholar listens suddenly to feel relieved down, is entreating according to the suggestion to government doctor, certainly doctors also understood to the getting sick mood of, treats with every effort for the Yao scholar, finally the Yao scholar also could completely be restored to health, has preserved her foot. To treatment period, the Yao scholar once many times saw and felt the various Buddha Bodhisattva treats the foot sickness for her.)
