I went down to At The Vanishing Point for the opening of this show as Angelika has a friend Ruark Lewis, who was one of the displaying artists. The show, Intervention Intervention, is about an aboriginal view of the intervention. I’d say it was a hostile view. They had tags for people to wear. I did not notice them on the way in, or I would have got one. They were Alcoholic, Rapist and Criminal.
He made an interesting observation, he said, I guess you are one of the family now. I think that is true.
