We went back to Jalan Alor for a dinner. We wandered along the road. I have a moderate ability to pick randomly good places, but Helen and Minh have super natural powers in this regard and I think I had what was on the whole, the best meal and dinner combination of the whole trip. In other places single dishes were good. But this was excellent. I had several dishes for the first time (that I remember). The lime juice with sour plum was simply the best. I really liked the cockles, sting ray and even the over fried bean curd. The sting ray was a class above what I would have on the rest of the trip. And how better to finish off the day with some very good durein.
